Industrial vacuum systems are designed for two main purposes. First, they are meant to remove any type of debris from the floor. Secondly, they are meant to remove all types of debris from the air.
In the beginning the size of the debris that needed to be picked up by industrial vacuum systems was somewhat tricky. Of course, there was also the issue of whether this debris was wet or dry. Sometimes both wet and dry materials needed to be dealt with at the same time. There were also really hot or corrosive items that industrial vacuum systems needed to deal with as well. Eventually, industrial vacuum systems were created that were able to deal with all of these different types of debris though. At first this was only done on a case by case basis but now these industrial vacuum systems are so well constructed that it no longer matters what the case may be.
At the same time, industrial vacuum systems also had to remove dust and other microscopic particles from the air. This was done to protect the workers and also to protect and store any valuable materials that would otherwise be lost. In the beginning huge industrial vacuum systems were mounted on rooftops. These looked more like an air conditioning unit than a vacuum. Nevertheless they industrial vacuum systems were able to suck air out of the factory, filter the debris and keep it accessible if there was a need to do so.
Those factories that produce fine particulate debris have really become dependent upon industrial vacuum systems. These industrial vacuum systems help them maintain safe environments while collecting the small particulates that they need to use again later on. Both functions are very important and thus industrial vacuum systems play a big role in the factories of today.
